Creating crafts with yarn is an old tradition in pretty much every human culture. Wrapping, weaving, knitting, tying knots, and other forms of hand-manipulating yarn were used to make items that were useful and/or ornamental. In this project we will create simple crafts using different techniques, all of which could be completed in a single meeting. Any of these crafts could be entered into the Alameda County Fair in June.
Meetings will typically be held on the second Friday of the month, at 6:00 pm, in Castro Valley.
