Defining our Mission

Head to Clearer Thinking

4-H is a place where leaders are grown. From the stage in front of fans, to debates on the Senate floor, 4-H Youth are prepared to keep a clear head, to think through the situation or problem, and lead the solution.

Heart to Greater Loyalty

We teach our youth to be kind and compassionate. We teach our youth to learn to put others before themselves and to be loyal to each other. We teach them the values of a kind and compassionate leader.

Hands to Larger Service

4-H Youth work to serve their community. Some alumni have even served their communities as leaders in Congress and as President. Youth are taught to value community service as an opportunity to give back to the community that supports them. 

Health to a Better Living

4-H Youth are taught to be healthy. A healthy leader is a stronger leader. Youth are taught how to manage stress and how to lead a healthy lifestyle.
