Volunteer for Trunk or Treat?
Lone Tree Cemetery Association is hosting another "Trunk or Treat" event in association with their Harvest Festival. We are looking for someone to represent Redwood 4-H that would like to be a "trunk" at this event. Oct 26 from 11am-2pm.
In an effort to promote a "Safe Halloween" community event. People decorate their trunks with a theme, and hand out candy to our community children as they visit each trunk. This event is during the day, and in the safety of our cemetery.
They also have bouncy houses and a pumpkin patch where each family gets a complementary pumpkin (while supplies last).

Requirements:
Text must say club name = Redwood 4-H Club (can have other 4-H text, "Learn by Doing", "Head Heart Hands Health" "To Make the Best Better")
Must include 4-H logo, download here
Minimum 5x5 inches and under 10x10inches (high resolution)
Design should be one single color, white only (we will print on green shirts)

Castro Valley Kid Wins Top Prize at 2022 Alameda County Fair
Featured in the Castro Valley Forum, Kellan Carey won the most prestigious award for Alameda County Fair for "Super Lamb"!
Kellan won both the Super Lamb and Lamb contests winning a cooler, an awesome belt buckle, money ($280 in addition to the $2,800 he received from selling his 2 lambs) and the perpetual trophy now with his name on it to keep for a year. Paul came in 4th overall for both Super Lamb and Lamb contests and Cheyenne tied with Paul to place 4th overall in Super Lamb both also winning money. Roan and Val tied for 8th overall in Super Lamb, putting 5 of our club members in the top 10 in the County!
Congratulaitons to Kellan and all Sheep Project members for a successful year. Redwood 4-H Club Sheep Project memebers earned some top prizes and sold their sheep for a profit of $450-$1,100 per sheep.
