4-H youth membership is $100*, Adult Volunteer is $30 paid to Alameda County 4-H. The money goes to 4-H county and state, but not our club. Annual fee allows youth to join projects offered by our club as well as county wide projects.
Adults only need to register and pay $30 if they want to become a Project Leader or take Volunteer role.

It takes 15-20 minutes to fill out the county online registration and sign the waivers on ZSuite.
Select “Redwood 4-H Club” under "+Add Unit" then add your youth as a Member to the Projects your youth are interested in.
After you register on ZSuite, you need to pay annual enrollment fee at ucanr.edu here.
New Youth Members
(never enrolled in 4-H)
Step 1 - New families will create a new household profile in the ZSuite system.
(A laptop or desktop is recommended, do not use mobile phone)
Select "Redwood 4-H Club" under +Add Unit. Select "Member" under Unit Roles.
Sign-up for project(s). You can add/update throughout the year after enrollment is confirmed. Not all Projects have been added yet.
Step 2. Lastly, pay annual $100* enrollment fee online on surveys.ucanr.edu website.
Print or save a PDF of your receipt. County office will review payment and complete your youth's enrollment changing status from 'pending' to 'active'.
Make sure to check "Redwood 4-H" as your primary club in ZSuite and ucanr.edu.
Returning Youth Members
**DO NOT** create a new profile if you have been enrolled at any time prior to July 2023.
Families that were active in 4-H online anytime from 2018 to 2023, will have the same login email for ZSuite, but will need to click "Forgot Password" and reset the password. The link is on the system login page.
Reset your password then update information and sign waivers.
- Teens who would like to receive 4-H emails directly can add their contact info on their individual profile.
- Sign-up for project(s).You cannot add & update throughout the year after enrollment is confirmed like in previous years, so sign-up for all you might be interested in. You can let Project Leader know if you are dropping a project later. (Same screenshots as on the left for New members)

How to enroll Adult Members to be Project Leaders or Volunteers
Parents do not need to register unless they want to do the Volunteer trainging to become a Project Leader. Keep your receipt of $30 to be reimursed by our Club. Your fingerprinting costs will be reimbursed by County.
