Holiday Potluck and Auction 12/8/22

Our December club meeting on Thursday, December 8, is not a regular meeting but our club's annual holiday party and auction. It is a very merry event with great food (a potluck), games and competitions, and an auction fundraiser of items prepared by the club's projects. Family and friends are welcome to join the party. Please note the different meeting time - this event begins at 6:00pm.

Each family is requested to bring food for the potluck that can serve 10-12 people. The categories are broken up alphabetically by last name starting with these letters:

A-L: Main dish

M-P: Salad

Q-Z: Side dish

Cake and drinks will be provided.

Along with the potluck, we have several activities and competitions that will occur during the potluck. We will be having a Hat Contest (so bring a holiday themed hat), a Candy Guessing Contest, and a Present Wrapping Contest! We also invite you to bring table decorations to decorate your table at the potluck.

After the potluck we will have the Holiday Auction! Families will receive a bid number that can be used in the auction and your bids will be recorded so you can come up and buy your item at any time. The auctioned items will have been made by the kids in their respective projects, so if you want to get your child's item bring your wallet (cash or check). We hope to see you there, and enjoy a good time with you!
